Indulge, discover, learn. Kerala, they call her God's Country and for good reason. For many travellers Kerala is South India's most serenely beautiful state. Named one of the ten paradises of the world by National Geographic®, it has wavering palms, wide sandy beaches and almost 600km of glorious Arabian Sea coast. Kerala's sublime raw green beauty is a must-see. It is most famous for the glistening backwaters of Alappuzha, the spice and tea covered hills of the Western Ghats, dotted with fiercely protected wildlife reserves and cool hill stations such as Munnar.
Prepare yourself for 10 nights of luxury and 11 days of soul-soothing, palm-shaded green that will slow your subcontinental stride to a blissed-out amble. Rise with the sun and start the day with good intention, meditation and yoga. Learn techniques to reduce stress, increase flexibility, strength, and mobility. Take home a souvenir that is not tangible but purposeful, life skills, memories and a new program to integrate you back into life at home.
Kerala is a world away from the frenzy of the rest of India, its long and fascinating backstory illuminated by historically evocative cities like Kochi (Cochin) and Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum).
