​GETTING THERE: Return international flight to Kerela (Cochin International Airport) on days one and ten of the trip - we will provide airport transfer to and from Couchin airport. (INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED)

DAY 1

​

Welcome to Kochin

​

Day 1: Your journey begins with a warm welcome airport pick-up and a transfer to the enchanting Dutch bungalow, a historical gem dating back to the 16th century. Nestled amidst the colonial charm of Fort Kochi, take some time to settle into your room and unwind by the hotel pool or explore the quaint streets adorned with Dutch, Portuguese, and English architectural marvels. Delight in a sunset cruise along the tranquil waters, followed by a mesmerizing Kathakali dance - a 1500-year-old traditional performance of arts and delicious dinner, marking the perfect start to your healing retreat and a deep immersion into southern Indian culture.

Day 2: Kochin to Munnar, Departure time: 7 am

Today we have a scenic four-hour drive to the picturesque hill station of Munnar. The journey treats us to breathtaking landscapes of rolling hills adorned with lush green tea plantations, often shrouded in soft clouds, crafting a mystical ambience.

 

Munnar is renowned for its virgin forests, savannah, rolling hills, scenic valleys, babbling streams, majestic waterfalls, sprawling tea plantations

Upon our arrival at the Planet Munnar hotel, we encourage you to take some time to settle into your room while our talented chefs prepare a delicious South Indian feast. After savouring a satisfying meal, you'll have free time to explore the surrounding area or simply unwind by the pool, soaking in the serene surroundings.

In the evening, we breathwork meditation session followed by dinner. It's a perfect opportunity to unwind and reconnect with yourself amidst the embrace of nature.

Day 3: We start our day with tea ceremony meditation, diving into local tea culture amidst the tranquil beauty of Munnar.

Followed by a jeep ride, into the mesmerizing scenery, where misty clouds and lofty peaks enhance the allure.

Arriving at Kolukkumalai, the world's highest tea plantation, we relish a picturesque breakfast at 2170m above sea level making it the highest tea plantation in the world surrounded by breathtaking views of tea gardens and mountains. Continuing our exploration, we visit a tea factory to learn about the tea-making process and indulge in tasting sessions, deepening our appreciation for this cultural icon.

As the sun sets, we return to the hotel for a revitalizing sunset yoga session, followed by a delicious dinner. A day filled with cultural immersion and natural wonders leaves us feeling connected and inspired, ready to embrace Munnar's magic anew each day.

 

 

 

Day 4: Commence the day with revitalizing yoga, preparing for a journey to Kumarakom, renowned for its serene backwaters. Embark on a traditional houseboat for a lunchtime cruise scenic cruise, amidst lush greenery. Arrive at Our Land Resort, your sanctuary for the next phase of your healing journey. Settle in and prepare for the transformative days ahead.

 

Days 5-8: Immerse yourself in the art of healing at Our Land Resort, focusing on breathwork, meditation, tea ceremony, yoga, and yin trauma release. Begin each day with centring yoga and meditation sessions, followed by workshops and hands-on training in healing techniques. Integrate Zen meditation and mindfulness into your practice, deepening your understanding of holistic wellness. Indulge in Ayurvedic massages and early morning bird-watching tours, nurturing your body and soul amidst the serene jungle surroundings.

Kickstart your day with tranquillity as you immerse yourself in our invigorating early morning yoga class followed by a mouthwatering breakfast. Afterwards, buckle up for a scenic bus transfer to the enchanting destination of Pokhara by comfortable air-conditioned (7-hour journey)

​

Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to settle into your accommodations and unwind. The afternoon is yours to explore Pokhara at your own pace. Feel free to roam around, grab a delicious dinner, and take in the sights and sounds of this charming city.

Make sure to rest up and prepare for the trek that awaits us tomorrow. Get a good night's sleep, as we'll begin on our adventure bright and early in the morning.

DAY 3

The journey by foot begins - Nayapul - Ghandruk ​

 

Awaken your senses with a morning yoga class and a delicious breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the day's adventure. From Pokhara, we have a short scenic drive to Nayapul, marking the starting point for our trek towards the picturesque village of Ghandruk.

 

Views of Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli are painted in the horizon.

 

Our journey includes visiting the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk, offering insights into the rich local culture. As the day winds down, we'll find comfort in a traditional Nepalese tea house, providing a cute, clean, and comfortable stay. Tea houses will be our haven for the remainder of this trekking experience.

DAY 4

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani

 

Today's adventure, begins with an exhilarating climb to Ulleri at 2,070m. This is but a taste of the trek's grandeur. Journeying through oak and rhododendron forests, we might catch glimpses of langur monkeys and the rare musk deer.

 

Our path takes us to the charming stops of Banthanti and then Nangethanti. However, the day's highlight is Ghorepani at 2,840m. From this vantage point, the majestic Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, and Hiunchuli peaks grace the horizon. Conclude the day in a warm guesthouse, reflecting on the challenges met and the beauty witnessed, and a very relaxed well deserved yin yoga class —a day of both endurance and wonder.

Ghorepani to Poon Hill's Majesty

 

Early birds, today's dawn holds a treasure for you. A brisk morning trek takes us to Poon Hill, and as you ascend, anticipate the grandeur that awaits. As the sun casts its first golden rays, the vast expanse of the Himalayas transforms into a mesmerizing tableau. The canvas unfurls: mountains awash in sunrise hues, demanding nothing less than "awe's" and countless snaps. This is nature's gallery at its finest!

 

The climax of our trek, this day starts with a spirited 45-minute hike to Poon Hill's vantage point. As the first blush of daylight graces the sky, you're treated to the celestial dance of sun rays painting the lofty Himalayan giants. The panorama is unparalleled - an ensemble of snow-capped marvels gleaming in the daybreak.

 

From our majestic perch atop Poon Hill, the horizon offers up its wonders: the imposing Mt. Dhaulagiri, majestic Mt. Annapurna I, the grandeur of Annapurna II and III, the distinguished Annapurna IV, the stately Mt. Nilgiri, and the formidable peaks of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Lamjung Himal, and the iconic fishtail silhouette of Machhapuchhre. Dive into Culture, Tadapani to Ghandruk

 

Kick-start your day with a hearty breakfast in Tadapani, setting the right tone for our journey ahead. Today’s destination? The captivating Gurung village of Ghandruk.

 

Our feet will tread for about 2-3 hours through a maze of dense forests, a medley of rhododendron, oak, and more. The gentle descent is therapeutic, with nature's whispers accompanying us. Upon reaching our lunch haven, we refuel and recharge, prepping for the cultural immersion ahead.

 

Post-lunch, it’s time to get lost in the charm of Ghandruk. Wander through its alleys, soak in the authenticity, and peek into the daily life of the locals. Cultural sightseeing is on the menu, and if luck’s on our side, the rhythmic beats of a cultural dance might just grace our day.

Ghandruk's Echoes to Jhinu Danda's (Hot Springs)

Setting our compass towards Jhinu Danda's acclaimed hot springs, today's journey is not just about covering miles but about tuning into the symphony of one's inner being.

 

Imagine this: the weariness of your muscles meets the soothing embrace of nature's very own spa. These hot springs, set naturally into the river bank, become an oasis for trekkers. Let the warmth envelop you, let the murmurs of the river serenade you, and let the panoramic vista play a motion picture for your eyes.

 

For those looking to kick the thrill up a notch, take a chilly dive into the adjacent river, only to immediately sink back into the warmth of the springs. This hot-cold plunge is nature's version of spa therapy, rejuvenating every tired muscle fiber.

Farewell Mountains, Hello Comforts of Pokhara

 

As dawn breaks on our eighth day, we'll lace up for the last stretch of our foot journey. With each step, as we descend towards Pokhara, reminisce the highs and lows, the sweat and the serenity, and the tales each mountain whispered.

 

After a light 2-3 hour walk, the rugged charm of the mountains will give way to the convenience of modern transport. A Jeep awaits to whisk you away on a smooth ride back to the heart of Pokhara.

 

By evening, find yourself unwinding at the plush Hotel. For those whose muscles yearn for some pampering, indulge in a rejuvenating spa session or a massage. Dive into the digital realm with free WiFi or make a splash in the outdoor pool, with Fewa Lake shimmering just a short stroll away.

Rest day in Pokhara

 

Today is a perfect opportunity to unwind and indulge in some leisurely activities in Pokhara. Explore the charming streets filled with art, shops, delightful restaurants, and cozy bars. Treat yourself to some shopping, and enjoy local cuisine. Whether you're seeking relaxation or a bit of adventure, Pokhara has something for everyone to enjoy during this restful day.

Today we have a 5 hour scenic bus ride to the captivating destination of Chitwan, where the wild awaits. Chitwan, where urban charm blends with the wild, the daily spectacle of rhinos strolling through city streets is both charming and extraordinary. This seamless coexistence adds a touch of wild charm to the urban landscape.

 

We arrive in the afternoon settle into our hotels and spend the afternoon bird watching.

DAY 11

Chitwan jeep jungle safari and canoe ride

 

Begin your day with serenity in a morning yoga session, preparing both mind and body for the day's adventures. After yoga and breakfast, embark on a captivating jeep safari into the heart of Chitwan's lush jungle. Traverse through verdant landscapes, keeping an eye out for rhinos, tigers, elephants, and diverse wildlife.

 

We end the day with a Canoe ride down crocodile filled lakes, watch as they rest on the sand banks as you pass by. dont worry as long as you keep or your limbs in your will be fine :)

DAY 12

 

Chitwan to Kathmandu

 

Today, following a serene session of yoga and a hearty breakfast, we'll venture into the jungle on foot. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, well-versed in the intricacies of the jungle, we'll explore hidden paths, spot rare birds, and witness wildlife in its natural habitat.

 

After our walking safari its time to say goodbye to Chitwan and head toward Kathmandu for our final night together. Time to celebrate.

DAY 13

Farewell

 

With a heart full of memories and a camera roll brimming with scenic snapshots, it's time for the final act. After a wholesome breakfast, preparations are made for your onward journey. Transfers to the Kathmandu International Airport ensure a smooth transition.

Today we will delightfully descend along the path that leads to Chhomrong. Winding through heavenly dew-glazed bamboo forests and vibrant rhododendron bushes, the trail unveils breathtaking views of the Himalayan range that will captivate the mind & soothe the soul. We’ll wind down in another fairytale-like tea house to fill our bellies with local delights and assimilate the grand happenings from the previous days events.

DAY 7

 

Chhomrong to trek to Himalaya 

​

With tummies & hearts full to the brim, our trek will commence from Chhomrong, leading us on a mesmerizing journey through diverse landscapes towards the almighty Himalaya. We'll traverse through some of the most beautiful & varying terrains to ultimately culminate in the serene ambiance of the Himalaya. Each step will unveil new vistas and experiences, promising an immersive and unforgettable trekking adventure.

DAY 8

Deurali to Machhapuchhare Base Camp

 

Today marks the beginning of our trek towards the breathtaking Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). Our journey unfolds with a gentle ascent through a picturesque riverbed, paving the way for a steep climb along the mountainside. Enveloped by towering snow-capped peaks, the surroundings create a majestic spectacle.

 

As the sun graces the horizon, its warm rays illuminate the snow-clad mountains, casting a radiant glow on the entire river valley. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp presents a formidable challenge, but as the saying goes, "no reward without a challenge."

 

The tough terrain is a testament to the unparalleled beauty that awaits. The view from Machhapuchhre Base Camp, with the majestic Machhapuchhre in its full glory, is an experience that transcends challenges and makes the journey truly worthwhile. ​

DAY 9

Machhapuchhare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

 

As we ascend higher into the mountains from Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp, the terrain undergoes a captivating transformation. The once lush vegetation gradually fades away, and the path widens, exposing us to the vastness of the towering peaks.

 

Embrace the sense of awe as the landscape opens up, allowing us to truly feel the grandeur of the mountains. The Annapurna Base Camp's conservation area unfolds before us, treating us to a dynamic 360-degree panorama. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and an array of other majestic peaks paint the horizon.

 

As night falls, Annapurna Base Camp becomes our home, providing a sanctuary amid the mountainous embrace. Take this opportunity to gaze up at a night sky uninterrupted by city lights.

DAY 10

 

Annapurna  Base Camp - Bamboo 

​

What goes up must come down, today we say goodbye to the high point of the mountains from ABC we start our descent towards  Bamboo, passing a picturesque village along the way.
Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.

DAY 11

 

Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (Hot springs)

​

Down down down, past cascading waterfalls, through the woods, passing an experimental sheep farm and rich bamboo and rhododendron forest which frame the breathtaking mountain scenery,  towards Jhinu Danda where well-deserved reward awaits – a soothing bath in natural hot springs. After 10 days of walking you can just imagine how good it will feel to soak you muscles in mineral rich hot baths.

DAY 12

 

Jhinu Danda to Nayapul to Pokhara

 

Post a refreshing session of yoga and breakfast, set out on a leisurely 3-hour hike towards the quaint Kyumi village. Here, immerse yourself in a long and relaxed lunch break, savouring the serene surroundings before continuing our journey to Nayapul.

 

As we reach Nayapul, the endpoint of our trek, take a moment to celebrate the triumph of this incredible hike. A 1-hour jeep ride awaits us back to Pokhara's vibrant city. Tonight you can treat yourself to a long hot shower and the hotel comforts.

Pokhara to Kathmandu

 

After a good night's rest, stretch yoga class and delicious breakfast its time to head back into the city. Today we have a short flight back to Kathmandu (45 min flight)

Farewell

 

With a heart full of memories and a camera roll brimming with scenic snapshots, it's time for the final act. After a wholesome breakfast, preparations are made for your onward journey. Transfers to the Kathmandu International Airport ensure a smooth transition.

 

As you buckle up for your flight, our team waves you off with a warm "Phir milenge!" (See you again!). Your journey with us might have concluded, but the tales of this Nepalese adventure will echo in your heart for a lifetime. Safe travels and until our paths cross again!
