With increasing demands on employers and employees alike, Yoga At Work takes the stress out of getting to yoga by bringing the yoga to you. It provides a subtle nudge for those of you who procrastinate about exercise and wellbeing. One of the most important aspects of yoga is learning how to breathe correctly. An American doctor, Dr Peter Steincrohn, found that many patients who suffer from severe stress and anxiety are shallow and rapid breaths. Forming incorrect breathing habits is a direct result of overworking, overstressing and poor posture. Working long hours, often hunched over the computer overtime may result in kyphosis of the thoracic vertebra, otherwise known as hunch back. This has a direct effect on breathing as the forward position of the spine closes the chest and affects lung capacity.

We tailor our yoga classes to suit your workplace demographics and ensure that all staff participate at a level suitable for each individual.


We recommend class sizes of up to 15/20 staff to ensure each participant receives the required individual attention from the instructor and the best possible experience.

For executives, we can also provide personal one-on-one office yoga sessions or small group classes.

YOGA & MINDFUL MOVEMENT FOR KIDS

Teaching yoga and mindfulness to children gives them the skills to develop an awareness of the inner and outer experience.. Children will be able to recognize their thoughts and understand how emotions manifest in their bodies, providing them with the tools to support emotional regulations and cognitive focus. Children are our future - and that's why we need to give them the tools they need to live a happy and healthy life.

Our fun and engaging yoga and mindfulness incursions are designed to promote health and wellbeing in kindy, Primary and Secondary schools.
 

Our Primary and Secondary school yoga and mindfulness incursions are a fun and creative way to improve students' physical and mental wellbeing. Our mobile school yoga classes focus on a combination of strength and flexibility, relaxation and most of all – fun!

PRIVATE & SMALL GROUP CLASSES

One-on-one yoga allows a tailored approach that is specific to the needs of your body. It is a great way to build a solid foundation in yoga practise and help you advance. Yoga needs to be understood holistically. That is, that everybody has different requirements. Private yoga will allow the teacher to investigate and treat individual requirements and/or problem areas with hands-on adjustments.

Small group classes consist of a maximum of 5 people and allow the teacher to focus more individual attention on alignment and gives each student the opportunity to receive hands-on adjustments.
